Collector is looking very well, and his party may collect at Wanganui next week.
Coalition did a leisurely two rounds of the big fences at Wanganui on Thursday morning, and looks very fit. Teka is reported to he galloping well at Napier Park, and should take a lot of settling in the ConMiolly Handicap. Coolpan has come on a lot since he won at Hastings, and the sprinters will li»v». to travel fast to beat him next week.
Turangapito finished in frontof Fion salla - and Reparation over a mile on Thursday, and may he tried over a mile and a-quarter in the Baukawa Cup.
A .number of Aueklanders reached Wanganui on Thursday, the arrivals including Kauri King. Munster, Coleraine, Golden Glow, Sir Fisher, and Beno. Record galloped well on the flat on Thursday, and he has done more schooling than anything else at Wanganui. Charlie Gordon deserves a change of luck for the patience he has shown with the fo<\ of Renown.

The Wanganui District Committee has taken '"P the question of assisting the hunt clubs on the coast, and it is proposed to raise £9OO between the racin? clubs in the Wanjranui district, to <li6 divided between the Fgmont-Wanganni, Rangitikei and Manawatu Hunt Clubs. It is now up to Taranaki racing clubs to dive the North Taranaki Hunt Club a helping hand. Gold Fran, who nns got through a lot, of useful work at Ellerslie recently, is due to arrive in Wnngiuini on Monday.
Bon Reve gave a good display over the big fences at Hastings this week, and may have to bo reckoned with in steeplechase events ahead. Old Golfien Glow has arrived at Wanfranui, looking wonderfully well, considering his years. T-Te may not have enough pace, however, for the warm crowd he will be up against on ThuraI day next.
