A LARGE BATCH OF NEW ZEALAND*" BUS, By Telegraph.— -Press Assoeiatibn. Auckland, Last Night. Transport No. 160 reached Auckland this morning with 835 officers and »en, 9 nurses and 18 passengers. This is tlio largest draft to return for some time. The vessel made a remarkably fast trip. The men on the whole look very well. There is a percentage of maimed men, but practically no cot cases. The general health of the men improved gretttly on the voyage, which was a particularly happy one. The one stop at an American port was memorable by the most lavish hospitality of the citizens. Anjtac bay was celebrated on board ship, dh which there was no less than 102 Gallipoli men. The draft was commanded by Colonel Plugge, of Auckland, and contains JDany decorated men. including wearer* of", French and Servian decorations. The transport is berthing to-morrow morning, and the southerners leave by rail at t 7.40 p.m. The statement that 200 men returned with wives is incorrect, no tt|A having done so.
