EVERYBODYS. GEORGE WALSH IS HAPPY "BOOK AGENT"; IN NEW FUN DRAMA. GOOD NATURE~BEAMS IN EVERY FOOT OF FILM IN iTHKH FOX STAB SHINES SUPREME. At last the lowly book agent has coma into liis own! Steeped in comedy audi romance, he steps on the screen of the newest William Fox photoplay, "The Book Agent," with all his suavity and assurance portrayed by no less u personage than George Walsh. Mr. Walsh is Harry Kelly, itinerant purverey of printed knowledge, who begins his sentimental adventures with an escapade in a young ladies' seminary, the main result of which is his meeting Mollie Lester (Doris Pawn). Later he meets Mollie again. She is nurse to Crandall Barker, a wealthy invalid. Mollie is in reality his granddaughter, though he does not know it; for he had disinherited her mother many years before, becaufle of a distasteful marriage. ; Kelly's sunshine charms old Barker and he hires the book agent as a sort of personal attendant. The plot thickens when Kelly learns that Barker's nephewis trying to make an end of the olct 'man ia order to gain possession of his money. Others, also, hope to obtain some financial bequests at Barker's demise. Thereafter Kelly's efforts are bent on frustrating these men, Rev. Ginem goes to suck lengths as to kidnap Barker, but in the end Kelly rescues him and finds him once more in perfect health as a result of having read a book which Kelly sold him.. Then Kelly establishes Mollie's identity and old Barker decides to leave his moner to lier. He likewise decides to leave her to Kelly. It iff a : great production and keeps one smiling.. "The Book Agent* will be repeated again to-night for the last time..
LAJ3T NIGHT OF EMPIRE'S STAR PROGRAMME..
Alice Bnuly, in the World Film feature, "The Maid of Belgium," will be shown at the Empire for the last time to-night. It is a sterling programme and has drawn good crowds which will doubtless be repeated to-night.. There are some intensely interesting topical war views included in the list.

Commencing to-morrow (Thursday), the management will present tho above popular artists in their latest six-act Metro romance, entitled "The Voice of Conscience." "The 1 Voice of Conscience?' offers a powerful story of love and ailVenture for your favorite co-stars. Mr. Bushman has the difficult task of playing two different men, and adorable Miss Bayne plays the role of Allane Houston, a sterling daughter of the Sunny South. It is by a strange turn of fate that William Potter is obliged to impersonate James Houston—to comfort Houston's dying mother, to protect his young sister, and to handle his business affairs. (Potter falls in love with sweet Allane, but dares not conifess his love. Then cornea the message that the real James Houston is r»turning home. This great photo-drama concludes with a highly dramatic and [wholly satisfying climax that will delight everyone.
