SECOND DIVISION LEAGUE.

MANAIA BRANCH. A well-attended meeting of the Manaia branch of the Second Division League vras held on Saturday, Mr. A. H. Christie presiding. After a very hearty discussion, the following resolutions were carried:1. That this meeting of the Waimate West branch, of the Second Division League demands that before any more members of the Second Division are culled into camp under the provisions of the Military Service Act, that the Bepar. ation allowance for a wife he fts pV day. That this meeting disapprove' of the recent action of the Executive Committee of the Kaponga branch, as antagonistic to the principles of the league. 5. That this meeting considers that the sentence passsed on the mover if seconder of the motion at the recent OMstdrarch meeeting was excessive.
