RUSSIAN GENERAL MURDERED GERMANS ORDER DISARMAMENT. RIGOROUS CENSORSHIP AT KIEFF. INTENDED VICTIMS ESCAPE. Received May 12, 5.5 p.m. Amsterdam, May 10. , A message from Vienna states tliat the Bolsheviks have murdered General Rennenkamff. Moscow reports state that the German Ambassador has sent an ultimatum to the People's Commissaries, demanding the disarmament and disbandment of military units, and the occupation of Moscow and other cities in Great Russia. The Germans have established a rigorous censorship at Kieff. The police raided the residence of Professor Grouchevsky, the president of the Central Rada, intending to arrest him. They also attempted to arrest fialtkoviky, the Government Commissary at Kieff, but both escaped. The newspapers are full of descriptions of the irruption of German soldiers in tile Rada, with members and the public standing at the pistol point with hands up. President Crushevsky alone protested. The efforts of the Ukrainian Ministers and Rada to secure compromise with the Germans were unavailing, the (Herman Ambassador at Kieff replying: '•lt is too late."—Reuter. CZARINA'S SISTER ARRESTED. RESISTANCE TO GERMAN WAR BANDS. GERMANS DRIVEN BACK. Received May 12, 5.5 p.m. Moscow, May 10. The Council of Commissaries has arrested the Czarina's sister, the Grand Duchess Elizabeth, and sent her to Ekaterinburg, where the Imperial family has been transferred. The Supreme War Council ordered resistance to the German war bands trespassing across the Ukraine border. In the Don district Russian cavalry recaptured Rostoff, and drove the Germans back thirty miles.—Press Association. THE RADA GOVERNMENT. ABOLISHED BY GERMANS. Received May 12, 11.30 p.m. New York, May 11. The New York Times Moscow "correspondent say 3 that protesting groups of Ukrainian Socialists were told by the Sermaa authorities that they will not restore the Rada Government. He adds that the former Grand Duke Dimitri Pavalovach actively participated in thy overthrow of the Rada. The Dowager Empress Marie Feodoravana has arrived at Kieff.—Press Assoc.
