ANITA STEWART AT EVERYBODY'S TO-DAY. A BARE FEATURE" "THE BILLIONS PLOT" OR "THE MESSAGE TO THE MOUSE?' What may happen after the war, is the foundation of the Greater Vitagraph s latest super-feature, screening at Everybody's this afternoon and tonight. The drama is a real, achievement, and is full of new and wonderful things. Anita Stewart ia the heroine, and Rudolph Cameron is, as in actual life, her lover. The cast ia an extraordinary one, however, and special mention should he made of Rogers Lytton, j who plays the part of Varrie, the inter* national spy called "The Rose," and alstf of Julia Swayne Gordon who portrays his woman , confederate. The first' sensational happening ia the explosion in the munition works owned by the heroines father. Thfc is wonderful photography. The working of a huge and intricate system of underground spies is: revealed in the most interesting fashion, and very amazing are the devices and fantastic electrical machines that are used for inter-communication. Noticeably among these is the writing telegraph machine with its uncanny arms that are almost human. The foiling of the whole diabolical eop. spiracy comes about in the most Surprising way, and the little heroine encounters some strenuous adventures in her role as self-appointed secret service agent. Supporting films are. "The Girl and the Game," episode no 8 • "Shirt Strategy," a rollicking Keystone comedy and the latest War Topical.

MATINEE PROGRAMME TO-DAY AT THE EMPIRE. LAST OP METRO DRAMA TO-NIGHT. This afternoon at two o'clock will commence the usual matinee at the empire. A splendid programme has been arranged specially suitable for the juveniles. In addition to the tenth episode of "Peg o' the Ring," there will he shown several comedies, Keystone and otherwise, war topicals, etc To-night will see the final screening of the powerful six-act Metro, drama, "Outwitted, ' m which the brilliant sta»e and screen star, Emily Stevens as "Nan Kennedy," gives one of the greatest performances of her career. The tenth | episode of "Peg o> the Ring" and other i supports, will also be shown in the evening for the last time. ALICE BRADY COMINQ MONDAY. Commencing on Monday the popular Brady-World film s t ar , Miss Alice Brady, will appear in a role of supreme power and pathos in a film story of the world war which will live under the title of "The Maid of Belgium." This is a strong play which throws a new light on "God's Greatest Gift," Motherhood. In fact this was the title originally given to the piece, but it was changed by adviso of the censor. The deceitful adoption of a Belgian refugee's nameless babe leads to frightful injustice and sure retribution. Incidentally there is shown some remarkable flashes, of the German Army at work in a Belgian town; also beautiful scenes of Long Island, U.S.A.
