THE FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE ORGANISATION. WEEKLY REPORT Opunake Yards.—There was a small yarding of cattle, but prices were good and almost everything was sold at the hammer. Fat cows, £ll to £U lfe; fresh-conditioned cows, £lO 5s to £11; forward cows, £S 18s to £9 17s Ud; storo cows, £(> to £8 10s; boners, £3 10s to £5 17's 6d; bulls, £ll 10s; weaners, 15s to £3. Manaia Yards—A total clearance was made at satisfactory prices. Fat cows £l2 to £l2 10s; fresh-conditioned cows, £9 to £.ll ss: storo cows, £0 to £S 8s; boners, £3 10s to £5 15s; weanersj. 14s to £2 8s; dairy cows, £11; store pigs, 25s to 30s. Stratford Yards.—Most of the lines submitted changed bands. Fat and forward cows, £lO to £l2; store cows, £7 to £9 15s; light store cows, £5 10s to £<! 17s; empty heifers, £3 15s to £4 10s; bulls, £5; weaners, 29s to £3 55.. Tnglewood.—'Prices were higher than at previous sales. Sheep also showod a sharp rise all round, and almost a total clearance was made. We quote:—Forward wethers 28s to 30s, empty ewes 1.2s fld to 1.3s fid, best lambs 15s, other lambs 9a fid to 14s. in-lamb ewes 24* fid to 28s lOd, forward cows £9 to £lO ss. stove cows £7 to £8 18s, small store cows £5 to £0 15s, 20-rnonths steers £fi to £7 sa. 2?,-vear steers £8 ]os to £9 ss, bulls £5 to £lO, good wearier heifers C 3 to £3 15s, weaner steers £3 to £4, small mixed weaners 20s to £9 Lis. in-calf heifers £B 15s to £9 12« Anroa Yards.—With the exception of three liens of cattle, everything was sold.
