THE 41st REINFORCEMENTS.
MORE MEN WANTED THIS MONTH. (Our Special Correspondent^ Wellington, April 30. The 41st Reinforcement, which is being mobilised this week, contains about 1000 of the Class A men, drawn in the 12th and 13'tfli ballots. Another big body of, the Class A men (married men without children) will enter camp with the 42nd Reinforcements next month. ■ The chiet anxiety of the Director of Recruiting at the present time is to get additional men for the May draft. The period of twelve weeks' leave allowed Second Division men between medical examination is net going to be reduced coinpulsorily unless' the necessity becomes very urgent, but reservists who can enter camp next month are being asked to come forward as volunteers. This applies to men of Classes C and D and also to. wpn of Class B, including those drawn in the recent ballot. The appeal has,produced so far about 250 additional men for the 42nd Reinforcement, which probably is the last draft that can take part in the active fighting of the present year.
