RECRUITING BRISKER. ENTHUSIASM IN SYDNEY. Received May 1, 9.25 pjn. Sydney, May 1. Special intercession services were held in the Protestant churches to-day, in view of the gravity of the situation. Recruiting continues brisk, parades of troops greatly stimulating enlistments. Mr. C&rmichael's thousand created wonderful enthusiasm to-day during their triumphant march through the city.
