TEOHIBITIOX POLL ABORTIVE. Australian Cable Association. Hobart, April SO. The local option poll oil the questions of continuance and reduction, taken over 4C country municipalities, proved disappointing to the temperance advocates. A very small minority of the possible votes was polled, and the statutory requirement that 25 per cent, of those on the roil must vote rendered the polls abortive in nearly every case.
