LOSING THEIR NERVE. OPPOSITION STRONGER THAN EXPECTED. London, April 29. The Amsterdam coiTespondent of, the daily express says that Captain von iSalnmann, writing in the. Vossische Zeitung, reveals that Berlin is Buffering from an attack of nerves regarding the situation in the West. Tlie writer mentions a few of the numerous rumors current, in Berlin,-such as that the Western offensive is getting out of control as the Allied forces arc stronger than anticipated. Others say: "We have no horses with which to continue the fight-, the whole country round Ypres lias become an impassable lake, and the country between the Amiens front and Paris is mined."
The writer adds that people are beginning to lose their nerve. He proteats against members erf the Reichstag starting rumors wheneyer there is a pause on the front, and says they have forgotten their duty to the Fatherland.
ECONOMIC AGREEMENT WITH UKRAINE. A "STATE GRAIN BUREAU. Received April 30, 5,5 p.m. Amsterdam, April 29. The economic agreement between the Central Powers and Ukraine was signed on April 23, establishing a State grain bureau to deal with supplies of grain. PEACE NEGOTIATIONS RESUMED. Amsterdam, April 29. Dr. Wekerle is forming a new Hungarian Cabinet. Ilerr-von Kuhlmann and Baron Burian have arrived at Bucharest in order to resume the peace negotiations.
