POSITION AT SEBASTOPOL. SAILORS WILL RESIST GERMANS. Amsterdam, April 29. It is reported from Kebustopol that the Laborites in the Crimea favor the surrender of the town f harbor, and fleet at Sebastopol without resistance, but the sailors have decided to oppose the Germans. FIERCE FIGHTING IN FINLAND. SIBERIAN GOVERNMENT NEEDS HELP.
London, April 29. The latest Petrograd advices, to the 23rd. do not confirm the rumor;; from Stockholm of the restoration of the monarchy in the person ot the Tsarevitch, which Russian circles in Sweden anticipated as a probable German move. Petrograd messages describe fierce fighting in Finland between the White and Red Guards. Several train loads of dead and wounded Red Guards arrived from Tersoki, while Viborg is cut off. Russian troops have been ordered to Tesist troops from Finland crossing the border. The Commissioners have ordered the disarmament of the troops of the Government of Kursk and the Crimea. A Siberian Provisional Government proclamation urges the establishment of solid relations with the Allies. The Government recognises the necessity of the introduction of foreign troops in the far cast of Siberia pending the establishment of a fixed Government in Russia. DISTURBANCES IN PETROGRAD. ! GERMAN SOLICITUDE.
Received May 1, 12.45 a.m. London, April 30. The German Government has taken up the Swedish press reports of disturbances nt I'etrograd and the restoration of (he monarchy. Herr Bussche, Foreign Under-Secre-tary, has teleft-aphed to General Mirbach, Ambassador at Moscow, mentioning the Swedish reports, and saving that, he had received a letter from Petrogratl. dated April 13, stating that a monarchist pronunciation was imminent, and that General Alexieff and MM- GutehkofTj Miliukoff. and Rodzianko are in Petroprad. Herr Bussche suggests the reports are not improbable, arid asks for a telegraphic reply. UKRAINIAN BREAK WITH GERMANY. Washington, April 29. A United Press message from Petrograd says a break between the Ukrainian Rada and the Government of Germany is near, because of the German demand that land he taken from the peasants and returned to the landlords, and that food stores be sent to Germany. Ukrainian workers and peasants are joining the Russians in the formation of a strong army whose purpose is to restore recognised democracy. A Government message adds, that Turkey has again offered Russia to open peace negotiations. WHITE GUARD BANDITS. Washington, April 29. State Department advices show that the Finnish White Guards are seizing stores from Britain and America intended for the old Russian Government.
MORE GERMAN DEMANDS. Washington, April 29. Slate Department advices say that Germany is sending a mission to Petrograd to demand the immediate release of healthy German prisoners, while the sick are to remain in Russia under the care of neutral physicians. Germany will agree to release incapacitated Russian prisoners. If these demands are not met Petrograd will be occupied.
