Dutch shipowners are not willing to send their ships to America, aa they do not believe America will keep her promise not to seize the ships. Ameri-: can official circles say that Germany; is refusing them safe conduct.
THE AMERICAN VERSION., GERMAN INFLUENCE AT WORK. A DUTCH-GERMAN AGREEMENT. Received April 21, 11 p.m. New York, April 20. ' The New York Times' Washington correspondent says the German press is trying to make it appear that the Allies are not keeping their promise to Holland that they wonld not use Dutch ships in the war zone.
Official advices says that a DutchGerman agreement was recently made whereby Holland received 200,000 tons of German coal and 50,000 tons of Belgian coal monthly, Later the Dutch refused the Belgian coal, because it was taken to the injury of Belgium. Germany is offering Holland Ukrainian grain in return for concessions.
