EVERYBODY'S. GENIVENE HAMPER IN "TANGLED LIVES." A new dramatic actress will be featured at Everybody'* to-night in the William Fox photoplay "Tangled Liver,." Genivene Hamper is the new star and she will prove a welcome addition to regular screen favorites The play is a powerful story of the peculiar ways of Fate, and the strange pranks it sometimes plays with love and life. It is produced and mounted in the usual magnificent Fox style and will undoubtedly, prove a popular attraction for its two nights' screening. There is a good supporting programme including a fine industrial lilm, "The Modern, Port of Copenhagen."

THE EMPIRE, "THE CURE" TO-NIGHT—HE BEST CHAPLIN COMEDY TO DATE. There was a big attendance at the Empire last evening, when the milliondollar comedian, Charlie Chaplin,, appeared in his latest "Mutual" comedy, "The Cure." This picture is two reela of sustained merriment and a delightful farce that keeps everyone in good humor In this picture the famous Charlie undergoes treatment at a sanatorium, with disastrous results for some of the other putients, to say nothing of the attendants. It is a real riot of fun throughout. The supports include a fine Triangle feature. "The Bond of Fear,'' in which Tlc-lle Bennett, a sister of the popular Enid, takes the leading role. The same programme "will be repeated to-night.

MATINEri THIS AFTERNOON. There will be a special matinee this afternoon commencing at a quarter past tlire'e, arranged so that the kiddies will have an opportunity to see Charlie in "The Cure.'' The usual matinee prices will be charged-
