CHANCELLOR S SPEECH. POSTPONED P,Y ORDER OJ? THE MILITARY.
Paris, April 10. The Matin's Zurich correspondent says that the postponement of Count von Hcrtling's intended speech in the Reichstag surprised the deputies. Jt is attributed to serious dissension between, the Ministers and Ludendorff, who threatens to resign if Counts von Hertling and Czernin make more peace speeches which weaken the army's morale and endanger the military plans. The Kaiser advised Count von Hertling to postpone his speech.
THE KAISER EXHAUSTED. COMMAND OF SUPREME COMMAND. Berne, April 10It is reported that the Kaiser is suffering from mental exhaustion as the result of his extreme activity during the offensive and has decided to rest, transferring the supreme command to General Ludendorff.
LOSS OF OFFICERS.
LAMENTED BY GERMANY Amsterdam, April 10. Germany is lamenting the very heavy casualties of officers. Several regiments are now practically led by noncommissioned, officers.
Berlin lists show that 2570 members of the nobility :have been killed during the war.
GERMAN TOOOPS MUTINY WHEN ORDERED TO THE FRONT.
Amsterdam, April 10,
German soldiers in the Beveloo camp, Limburg, mutinied when ordered to proceed to the front, and fatally shot three officers and wounded many. The mutiny was quelled and 17 men arrested.
