EXTRAVAGANT TURKISH CLAIMS. Received April 8, 5.5 p.m. London, April 7. A Turkish communique dated April 6 says: After violent fighting we occupied the region of Erdiscakh, on the north shore of Lake Van in the Caucasus. We stormed strong points west of Sari Kamish, and occupied Ardahan. We captured 34 mortars and a quantity of munitions. We crossed the ancient frontier on the shore of the Black Sea, in the direction of Batoum.
