The Standard asks what Ireland intends doing in order to avoid creating a gulf, not only between herself and Britain. but between herself and all the free nations of the world. The Standard suggests brigading Irish battalions with Americans.

Clemenceau he visited Sir Douglas Haig and Generals Petain, Foch and Pershing. MEAT RATION SCHEME. Received April 5, 8.33 p.m. London, April 4. The new national meat rationing 1 scheme reduced the ration of butcher's meat one third, and correspondingly increases the other meats. The scheme allows children over six an adult ration and boys between thirteen and eiguteen a supplementary ration.
