(From Our Own Correspondent).F.lthum. April 2. The Forresters held a social evening during the holidays. During the evening P.C.T!. I'.ro. A. Rogers presented P.C.I! Bro. A. If. Andrews with a P.C'.R. medal and tobacco pouch (inscribed) as a mark of appreciation of his work as secretary and assistance in other directions to the Court. P.C.R. Bro. F. Casey also endorsed the rteat assistance rendered l>v Bro. Andrejvs. The latter, in replying, stated that out of 00 financial members 20 had gone to the front, and of these four had paid the supreme penalty. 7°he remainder of the evening wa £ spent in a very social manner, all enjoying themselves. The Eltham veteran bowlers, Ure Murray and J. Barnard, made a big bid for victory in the A section at the recent tournament. They> have Vcn battling togciher for a good, number of years at this particular elnss of sport,, and a success to them would be appreciated bv the club.
