Outlook, the. winner of two races) at Randwiek, lias been sold to S. P. Mackay for 0000 guineas. Cetigne and Desert Gold are having a close contest for winnings. Cetigne. who has won £20,824, and Desert Gold, with £20,141, stand third and fourth respectively among Australasian win--ners, following Carbine's £29,476, and Trafalgar's £22,111. A special appeal to race-goers at Randwick to subscribe to the war loan secured £57,000. Desert Gold has been scratched for the A.J.O, Plate. Received April 2, 9.3 ii p.m. Sydney, April 2. New York has been scratched for the Steeples. It is understood that the All Aged .Stakes will be Desert Gold's last race here at present, as she returns to New Zealand at the first opportunity.
