A STORMY VOYAGE.
TO CAMPBELL ISLANDS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, March 2SThe steamer Himitangi, which arrived from Campbell Islands to-day, had a very stormy voyage- Sho' left Dunedin on March 18. Soon after clearing the heads she met with a violent gale, hail, and mountainous sons. The vessel was logging only two knots at the time she reached the Campbell Islands early on Saturday. After landing stores and loading wool she left on Monday- She soon encountered the gale,'and shipped large quantities of water. The gale raged till Tuesday .night, when the weather moderated. The vessel behaved well. The losses of sheep were very small-
, Six men who went to the islands ten months ago returned by the vessel. The season was very good and the party enjoyed excellent health. Whaling was not carried on owing to-the loss of the launch Komuru last year. Whales are -very plentiful.
