QUESTION OF REINFORCEMENTS.
AKMY COUNCIL'S ADVICE FOLLOWED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, March 2". Referring to -a question a*kcd in the House of Commons regarding the Xew Zealand reinforcements, the Minister oi Defence stated to-day: "I am not disturbed about the. strength of our main bodies at the front. We have relied upon Ihe Army Council to advise us from time to time as to the necessary monthly percentage to keep the main bodies up to full strength, and we have never deviated from the advice given to us, and never failed to send the ."nil number of reinforcements in accordance with that advice. Lam satisfied with regard to the present percentage. The advice of the Army Council is sound, and I judge Ibis, not only as they 'have sent it to us, but also because it is supported by responsible officers at the front"
