CANTERBURY RAM PAIR. By Telcgraj- -Press Association. Christchureh, March 21. At the Canterbury Ram and Ewe Fair to-day flock rams were Hold. The principal \lemand. was for English Leicester, on the other hand, Southdown* could hardly be given away, and Shropshire* were also mostly passed. The range of prices was: English Lercesters, 2>/ignineas to 12$ guineas; Border Leicesters, 2 ] / 4 guineas to 8 guineas; T.ineolns, US guineas to 7% guineas; Romneys 8 guineas to 17 guineas; Southdowns, 1} guineas to 4\ guineas; Shropshire!!, !1 guineas to 0 guineas; Corricdales. 2i guineas to 21 guineas; half-bred, ■lh guineas to 124 guineas. Christchureh, Last Night. The Christchureh ram and ewe fair was concluded to-day, when stud rams were offered. Ther* was a spirited demand for English Leicesters, which sold up to 100 guineas, this price being obtained by the Canterbury Agricultural College, but other breeds were dull of sale. The range of prices was: Lincolns, r> guineas to 25 guineas; Romneys, 2U guineas to 30, guineas; Border Leicesters 12 guineas to 27.V guineas; English Leicesters 10 guineas to 100 guineas; Southdowns 5 guineas to 2."> guineas: C'orricdales 0 gurnets to 35 guinea*; Shroptthires 10J guineas
