THE C 1 MEN.

HARCH ACROSS THE' RIMUTAKAS. jtFrom Our Own Correspondent). Wellington, March 14. The march of the 3llth Infantry Reinforcements across the Rimutakas, completed to-day, was an interesting test of the work of the CI camp. D Company consisted mostly of men from the CI camp, men, that is, who had been declared unfit for active service, who had ben sent later into the special camp, and who had attained there the health and fitness necessary to qualify them for transfer to the ordinary reinforcement campsi The reinforcement spent two nights in the open, did some very heavy marching and manoeuvring and reached Trentham this morning. Only six men had fallen out during the two days and of these only one belonged to D Company. The ex-Cl men naturally were proud of their • perfounance. ;
