A telegram from Dublin states that possibly there wort four casualties. The Rathmore was carrying 600 soldiers and 38 civilians, including women and children. She collided with a minesweeper in the darkness. One boat capsized, the inmates being rescued by the soldiers. The crew displayed the < v oolest behaviour. Both vessels were towed to port.
