EASTER TOURNAMENT. The New Plymouth Club have now had the fairways ,to the links at Waiwakaiho cut, and the course is in excellent condition for play. . Rain is wanted to loosen up the greens, which are at present rather hard for rolling, but, as we may expect, that before the end of the month, competitors should find the course better at Easter than it lias been before. The club had decided not to hold ladies' matches this year, but so many inquiries have ibeen received that the two matches have been reinstated, on the programme, a bogey match on Saturday and a medal match on Monday. Entries, Is tid for each match, must be sent to Mrs. Johns, the ladies' captain, who lias the arrangements for these matches in hand. Altogether the prospects of a successful tournament look very favorable.
