A FIGHT IN THE NORTH SEA. XWO BBITISH PREVAIL OVER FIVE ENEMY. \ Received March 15, 10.15 pm. London, March 15. The Admiralty reports that two seaplanes" on 'Tuesday attacked five enemy aircraft' in the southern part of the North Sea, and shot down and destroyed one enemy two-stater, and killed the observer of a second machine, and drove down on the 'water another seaplane. The engagement lasted for thirty minutes, and only terminated when the British expended their ammunition Our machine? returned.
TERRIFIC RESULTS OF COBLENZ RAID. ' Amsterdam, March 14. The Cbblenz raid had terrifk results. The city is completely isolated 1 , nobody being allotted to leave cr enter. Two munition factories are reported as burnins; and vast quantities of explosives are continually exploding.
ZEPPELIN OVER HARTLEPOOL. London, March 14. The P.ress Bureau reports: One airship crossed the coast last night and dropped four bombs on Hartlepool, demolishing six dwelling-houses and damaging 30, ' The airship operated at a great altitude and only remained over the land a few minutes. The remainder of the bombs appear to have fallen ipto the sea.
The casualties were: Killed 1 man, 1 woman, and 3. children; injured, 3 men, I woman," arid's children. i GERMAN .MACHINES SUFFER. London, Mcrrh 14. During ftn air fight in the North Sea three German aeroplanes were destroyed by riie British. SeVenty-nine German machines were brought down in 10 days on the western iront.
EFFECT OF PARIS RAID. Paris, March 14. Twenty-nine women and 30 children were killed in the tube panic. Theatres are not allowed to hold performances in the evening unless air shelters are available near by. The authorities we overhauling all the schemes for combating air raids on the capital.
