A STEADY ADVANCE. SUCCESSFUL BOMBING OPERATIONS Received March 10, 5.5 p.m. London, March 9. Palestine official: Between March 5 and 7 our lines astride the JerusalemNablua Road were steadily advanced, almost unopposed, the maximum depth attained being three miles on a front of eighteen miles,. We successfully bombed the railway and aerodrome at El Kutrani on Monday, and dropped a ton of bombs on the railway north of the Maafc encampments east of Jericho on Tuesday. The enemy blew up the Jordan bridge at El Ghoraniyeh on Wednesday. A TURKISH. REPORT. Aus. and N.Z. Ca;ble Assoc, and Router. Received March 9, 5 5 p.m. London, March 8. Wireless Turkish official: Oil the Palestine front, during our advanced post engagements, the enemy occupied Djiba temporarily, but our counterattack drove them back. SITE FOR JEWJSH UNIVERSITY. New York, March 8. The Palestine Restoration Commission has completed plans for a Jewish University at Jerusalem. The site will be on the Mount of Olives.
