PETITION TO ADJUDGE MR. McCOOMBS BANKRUPT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, March 9. A petition that Mr. J. McCoombs, M.P., be adjudged bankrupt has been filed in the Supreme Court. , The petitioning creditors are KincaidSj/Lld., and Bowron Bros., Ltd. One of the the grounds of the petition is that Mr. M.Coombs lias committed an available act of bankruptcy, a distress warrant having been executed on him and returned "nulla bona."
