SCOTTISH WOMEN'S HOSPITAL.
NEW PLYMOUTH CONTRIBUTION APPRECIATED. The Mayor of New Plymouth (Mr. C. 11. Burgess) has .received the following letter from the secretary of the New Zealand executive committee, which issued the recent appeal on behalf of the .Scottish Women's Hospital, in acknowledgment of the amount raised in New Plymouth on Saturday, February 23 when a general appeal was made here on behalf pf the-fund: "I have to acknowledge receipt of your wire advising M , < L l i ,ia , t y°" have P aitl »'to the bank Arf/4 Is Cd on account of the above fund, and I have to thank you for the same. lam instructed bv the executive committee to most heartilv thank the citizens of New Plymouth who have so generously contributed the large amount remitted, and I ask. that you give this publicity through the press.
