The Peking correspondent of the New York Times says that the Chinese Cabinet has decided to send an army of 20,000 Chinese to Siberia, simultaneously with the Japanese expeditionary force. Tremendous interest continues regarding the Japanese question. Washington correspondents assert that it is taken for granted that Japan intends to go to Siberia, hut America considers the expedition not needed to protect Japanese subjects, and the fear is expressed that Russia may miscon- I strue Japan's objects. The Washington correspondent of the New York Herald says that while the Government does not assent it will not obstruct Japanese action. Japan must shoulder the responsibility. The Washington correspondent, of the Nev; York World learns that Japanese troops are already concentrated in Korea and Southern Manchuria ready for action. The United Press correspondent at Washington States that officials still believe Trotsky is trying to keep the revolution alive, with the result that the Bolshevik Government is divided.
