At the Supreme Court, Herbert Alexander Mncdotmld, a well-known solicitor, was charged with the fraudulent conversion to his w*t of £1()L!, trust money, and on two charges of fraudulently omitting to account for £ll4 15s -2d'and £153 15s, received on terms 'requiring him to account for and pay same to Samuel Miller and Thus. Kennedy' re- • Dfliectively. The .jury found prisoner guilty on the first two charges, and not guilty on the third. He was then charged with, and pleaded guilty to, the fraudulent conversion of a further sum of .£BOB 9s, and with the theft of £0) in Sd. Accused was sentenced to three years' hard labor on each charge, sentence to be concurrent. '
