This afternoon the Methodist Confei ence considered schemes for the alteration of its constitution and orgauisa* tion. Rev. S. Lawry moved: "That/ in view of the cost of holding the confer- . ence as at present constituted, and the difficulty felt in some cities in piouding " adequate hospitality, it is desiratye that the constitution be altered so as to provide for a substantial reduction lathe number of ministers and lay repre- > sentatives entitled to attend the ence" The Rev.
