PARK FETE DAY.
MEETING OF CITIZENS' COMMITTEE A meeting of the general citizens' committee for the Park Day Fete was held 'last night, Mr. C. E. Bellriiigcr .presiding. Mr. A. Bullions was appointed general secretary for the fete. General matters of detail in connection with the fete were discussed and committees were set up to control the different sectins of the programme as follows: Motor events—Messrs P. Sainton (convener), D. Cameron, T. G. Thompson, F Robertson, H. Oerbv, A. George, and Willis. Children'? sports (including swimming) —Messrs A. Gray (convener), 11. Fowler, S. G. Smith, j. W. Ilayden, P. A. Schwartz, N. C. Christiansen, A. Milne, 0. J. Howarth. Committee to assist ladies' committee —Messrs F. W. Sandford (convener), Boy Scouts, and Messrs S. Brooke, J. Sanders, G. W. Browne, F. Coleman ana W. K. Bendall. Gates—Mr. L. Hoffmann (convener). Advertising—(Mr. P. J. Flanagan (convener). „ Music—Band itemß, Mr. F. W. G. McLeod (convener); vocal items, Mr. A. Gray (convener). It was decided to ask the Harbor Board for the loan of flags for decoration purposes. A meeting of conveners of all the committees is,to be lisld on Wednesday next
