Peter McFarlane Dewar, health specialist, to-day was committed for trial on a charge of counselling or procuring a woman to permit tHe use of an instrument. A SERIOUS CHARGE. , Auckland, Feb. 19. At the Supreme Court the jury failed to agree in a case against Hannah Dalton, on a charge of having used an instrument or other means on one Vera Baker, with intent to procure abortion. At last sessions the accused was charged, with the manslaughter of Baker, and the jury failing to agree, a new trial was ordered. The present proceedings are on an additional count. '
