In this photoplay made from Jackson (jregory's novel, these men take part in a big round-up, this portion of the picture having been actually made on the scene of a great Rodeo eamp in ArizonaWhile preparing for this picture Metro players were quartered in tents pitched on the bands of a winding stream, with a thick growth of mesquite near by. The company had its own "chuck-wagon" and cook, 'and the food supply was partly furnished by Harold ]/>e"kwood and others in the company, who lived up to their reputation of being ''crack shots." One of the most exciting moments in "Under Handicap'' shows Anna Little as the heroine galloping 011 horseUftck after a swiftly moving train. She leaps from her horse to the platform of the observation car. Two of the fastest horses ever used in motion picture work were used in this scene. amMhe train which Miss Little cauglit was going at the rate of thirty miles an hour. The clever actress was fully competent to meet the exacting demands mule upon her by' the necessities of the picture. "Under Handicap" will be screened at the matinee on Saturday. EVERYBODY'S. / ' BESSIE__SA'RRTSCALE IX "BORROWED PLUMAGE" A story rich in incident is told in "Eorrowed Plumage" the Triangle drama starring Bessie Barriscale being shown at Everybody's to-night. Bessie Barriscale is at her very best in this play. She portrays tlie kitchen wench of 'a castle on the Irish coast at the time of the exploits of the American rover Paul •Tones. She has always hankered after the ways of the gentry, and at the approach of the bold pirate to the • rist, all the castle folks run away, :r ' the kitchenmaid has her chance. She proceeds to dress herself in the costume of a ■ grand lady, when suddenly she finds that an English garrison has arrived to defend the castle. They, of course, mistake her for one of the' family, and she does the honors with great success. Then arrives a former lover, and she knows him to be one of the crew of Paul Jones' privateer. Exciting adventures follow but all, of course."cnds happily. The fight between the pirates and the British garrison is most exciting. and there are plenty of thrills. The dressings and settings are elaborate to a degree and there are nmnv quaint touches of humor. The pirate ship is the genuine article, and the landing and skirmishing rushes are most realistic.
