OUR REINFORCEMENTS.
TO BE KEPT UP WHILE THE WAS LASTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Referring to the import that the Government does not intend sending married men to fight, Sir James Allen made a statement to-day that so long as the war continues the Government will continue to fulfil its obligation to send reinforcements, even if this should involve the calling up of B and C men. "It is my earnest wish that we shall not have to send even A men out of the country, but 110 one can tell when the war will end. I saw members of the Second Division 'ii the south, and my conviction is that although they have big responsibilities they will all go willingly when their time comes, knowing they are fighting for their country and their own people."
