DISASTROUS FIRE.
AT MONTREAL NUNNERY, 38 CHILDREN INCINERATETJk Australian Cable Association. Ottawa, Feb. 18 It is feared that a hundred perishes in a fire at the Grey Nunnery, Montreal. Thirty-eight charred bodies of children have been recovered. Firemen rescued 200 wounded soldiers who were accommodated in the building- . ilf - SOME HEROIC RESCUES. ''-'V Ottawa, Feib. 15. The death roll at the Grey Nunnery, Montreal, is believed not to exceed TO. The fire originated by a Bpark from an X-ray machine. Returned soldiers rescued numbers of children, carrying them out two at a. time. A sergeant of the 13th Highlanders entered the building five times and rescued ten infants.
