AERIAL RECONNAISANCES. SUCCESSFUL BOMBING RAIDS. Received Feb. 11, 95 p.m. London, Feb. 10. Sir Douglas Ilaig reports: Hostile raiders were repulsed with loss yesternight. south.of 'Houthulst forest There was hostile artilierying south-west of Cambrai. We undertook several successful aerial rcconnaisancos on Saturday, despite the low clouds and high winds. Nearly a ton of bombs were dropped on various targets. Their observations enabled the artillery to effectively engage hostile batteries. Our bombing machines, whereof one is missing, made a successful raid in unfavorable weather on Saturday night, dropping nearly a ton of bombs with gonrl results on the important railway junction and sidings at Courcelles-leß-Metz.
MORE GERMANS ARRIVING. NO CAUSE FOR ANXIETY London, Feb. 11. Hostile artillery activity is in progress in the neighborhood of Houthulst Forest. VIOLENT ARTILLERY ACTIONS. Received Feb. 11, 830 p.m. London, Feb, 10. A French communique states: There are violent artillery actions on both banks of the Meuse and in the Vosges. An enemy coup-de-main on a -small post, in the Boureiulles region of Argonne collapsed.
