EVERYBODY'S. LAST NIGHT OF "THE MORAL FABRIC." A unique sort of revenge upon a false, wife is wreaked in "The Moral Fabric." the Triangle play where a foolish wife is led astray by a wealthy idler who preaches a fantastic theory of free love. The husband in this play does not thread ten violence, but calmly allows the pnir to go off together, taking care, however, that the seducer is compelled to marry the woman. He follows later, and wins back the lightly given affection of the woman, only to turn upon the pair the* very theories that had originally been preached by them so that thev could desert him. To-night will be the final screening of this programme which includes a two-reel Keystone comedy, "The Lady Drummer/' ith Fay Tincher in the lead. fO-MORROW, Carlyle Blackwell and June Elvidgc will he featured to-morrow in the World film feature, "Youth." THE EMPIRE. "DESTINY." OR "THE SOUL OF A WOMAN/' EMILY STEVENS LATEST 810 SUCCESS. | To-night the remarkable Metro play "Destiny," will commence a two-night season at the Empire. Although a sad deep note is struck the picture is not morbid, and the story Vill undoubtedly greatly interest) the onlooker. Strong sympathy will be aroused for the mother who through a terrible mistake and later by weakness suffered as an outeast. Surrounded by luxury, glitter, glamor, music and so-called friends, nevertheless she was truly in the "Home of Lost Souls"—as t)ie flash dance and f ambling hall of the picture was named, 'he theme is of a. woman who is deserted by her artist husband when he learns she has a past. She later leaves her baby son in a monastery, where he is brought up. When the son is grown t,o young manhood he expresses a desire to see the world before he consents to enter the order which has educated mid shielded him. His wish is gratified. We see him enter a house which proves to be under the control of his mother; it is a resort unquestionably with a reputation—its title is "The House of Lost Souls." Here the young man is tempted by avarice, lust and rum, personified by three men. and passion, typified by a woman- In the revelry the youth is crowned with a fool's cap. The mother rushes into the scene and rescues him. She does not reveal her identity. The young man goes back to the monastery. Later he is given a pasiorate. In a storm the mother seeks shelter in the church and dies in the priest's arms, also without disclosing relationship. "Destiny" will be screened at the evening sessions only.
