THE STRIKE. AUTHORITIES TAKE PRECAUTIONS Amsterdam, Feb. 4. The Dutch Revolutionary Socialist Strike has strong support in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and at The Hague among the local trade unions, but the Dutch General Federation holds aloof. The ijsue of the strike is at present problematical and many expect it will prove a fiasco, but the authorities have taken precautions fearing the contagion mav possibly spread. They have also renioved the Amsterdam garrison and brought in other troops.
