Staff Cadet N. Leach returned to Duntroon Military College on Monday last. Mr. W. If. Robertshaw, of Invereargill, has been appointed manager of the Bank of Australasia at New Plymouth, in succession to Mr. T. G. Hirst, who goes to (nvercarglll. Mr J. W. H. Martin, of Pukennihe, wiio lias been re-appointed to the Taranaki Land Board, was welcomed by the chairman and other members at the monthly meeting held yesterday, on taking his f>eat for a second term. At last night's meeting of the New Plymouth Returned Soldiers' Association a motion of condolence with the relatives of the late Mr. H. Goodacre was passed, with the customary mark of respect. The latest casualty list contains the following Tnrannki names:—Missing: S. G. James (P. James, Kahotu, father). Wounded accidentally: J. M. Hammersley (N. Hammersley, Kaponga, mother). In the hospital and progress report the name of R. Warihi (Kahotu) appears in the list of severe cases, and that of D. M. O'Grady (Patea) in the not severe cases.
