Official pictures of the lighting on the West front and of the tremendous activities behind the lines; of the innumerable implements of modern war, and of the men also who use them skilfully and do not flinch under the enemy's reply, and of the British Navy at sea, constitute the remarkable series of films entitled "Sons of the Empire." to be screened at'the Empire to-night and to-morrow night and at a special matinee to-iuorrow afternoon. The world knows how well justified this title is, for Britain's fighting men come from all corners of the Empire; and the pictures do the fact justice, Men of the British Isles, men of Canada, men of Australasia, men of India, are shown playing their great parts in the drama of the war, and the pictures are an extraordinary and very complete collection which cannot fail to thrill every onlooker. "Sons of the Empire" is 'being exhibited under ihe auspices of the Y.M.C A., and quite apart from its own great claim to attention, the picture demands patronage for the worthy object to which the resulting funds are to be devoted. x\ll the net proceeds will be used, by arrangement with the Minister of Internal Affairs, for providing lomforts for our fighting men. Seats may be booked at Collier's. At the matinee children will be admitted at half-price.
