The public are "now so familiar with the kinematograph that it is apt to miss the point that this is the first war which has ever been adequately recorded in imperishable and indisputable evidence that may he consulted by historians perhaps thousands of years hence, and it is perhaps true of no other historical record of equal value that, it is of entrancing interest ,at the time, which is certainly the case with moving pictures of the ' war. "Sons of the Empire," which will be shown in the Empire Theatre on Wednesday and Thursday next. Is a very good example of these detailed and unequivocal documents. The Immediate interest of them lies of course m the fact, that in just 'sueli scenes as they depict the relatives and friends of all who behold them are spending arduous and sometime!? weary, sometimes glorious days as champions of civilisation.
