INGLEWOOD

(Prom Our Own Correspondent). Inglewood, Jan. 24. The Inglewood Boy Scouts <iro holding a big sports meeting next wei>k. Since the resuscitation of the movement the membership has gone ahead by leaps and bounds, until now it is one of the strongest corps in the province. Some novel features are included in a programme that should attract some attention. Competitors are expected from New Plymouth and Stratford. A sitting of the S.M. Court will be held to-morrow, when the business to be heard will be of a civil nature. Mr. and Mrs. Woodward, of Gisbome, who have been spending some time here and in New Plymouth, leave to-morrow for Taumarunui. Mr. Woodward is a schoolmaster, and he expresses himself as delighted with what he has seen in Taranaki.
