TEN PER CENT. OF PEOPLE ON STRIKE.
VIOLENT COLLISION'S ) ANTI-GERMAN BIT cHRNESS GROWING. Received Jan. 23, 9.30 p.m Amsterdam, Jan. 22. Despite the most severe censorship, it is evident the strike is spreading. All the industries of lower Austria are now affected. Figures regarding the numbers of strikers are excised, though occasional censors' oversights suggest that ten per cent, of the people are now striking, including those engaged in the most essential war industries. Eight thousand 6trike leaders met at Vienna to formulate plans. "Violent collisions between the strikers and the police took place, especially in the Ring Platz and Opern Platz.
