THE WELLINGTON NORTH SEAT.
(From Our Own Correspondent). Wellington, .lan. 21. The Wellington Xort'li seat is expected to fall vacant before the end of next month, and in .the meantime the local Reformers are still differing a,s to the choice of a candidate. The Prime Minister lias had several conferences with interested parties, but it does not appear that a contest can be avoided when the seat is rendered vacant by the elevation of Mr. Herdman to the Supreme Court Bench.
