At the luncheon adjournment Wellington had scored 25 without loss of a wicket (Hiddlestone 10, Wilson J)). WIN FOR WELLINGTON Wellington, Last Night. Wellington won the match by seven wickets. Canterbury's second innings produced 228, Gray scoring 87 by vigorous cricket. Requiring 23»' runs to win, Hiddlestone and Wilsoni opened for Wellington, and scored 103 before % being separated by Wilson getting his leg in front to Tlioriias. Burton played steadily, but at lf>7 lost Hiddlestone, who was bowled by Reese. Dind came next, scoring slowly, but Baker, the next man, played more freely,, and, with Burton, got the necessary runs.
