BUBNSIDE. At Burnsidri yards there was a large yarding of fat cattle of good quality. Competition was not so keen as of late, and prices, especially towards the close, eased about 20s per head compared with last week's rates. Best bullocks brought £lB 10s to '£2o, extra to £22 2s Gd, medium to good £l4 to £ls 10s, best cows and heifers £l4 to £ls 10s, extra to £lB, medium to good £l2 to £l3, others from £lO up.. There was-a small yarding of fat sheep of good quality. Prices showed a rise of aJiout Is per head on last week's rates, best wet)hers realised 39e to 42s 6d, extra to 44s M, medium to good? 35s Od to 375, best ewes 3Gs to 38s fid,, extra 40s, medium to good 32s to 345, others 28s up. For fat lambs last wek's high were not maintained, prices showing a drop of 2a to 2s 6d per head. Best lambs brought '2Bs to 30s, extra 325, medium to good 24s to 265, others 21s'up.. There was a good yarding of pigs. Prices for fat pigs were well up to late rates. There was a large yarding of stores, which were cleared at good prices.
