TAHANAKI JOCKEY CLUB. COMMITTEE MEETING j Hie T..J.C. Committee met last night. I'rcspiit: Messrs 1.. A. Nolan (chair), W. C Weston, i'. Oibell. J. McLeod, D. J. Hughes, W./J. 'Jhaney. K. V. Bluudull, A. Alexander, and N. King. It was decided to fix a. hot water boiler at the tea kiosk, to supplement the present arrangements, in readiness for the February meeting. It was decided to proceed with the making of a sand track immediately after the February meeting, and to call for tenders for delivery of the necessary sand. It was also decided to instal ventilators in the totalisator house A number o£ transfers for the Fifth Taranaki Stakes were approved. Three new members were elected. Accounts amounting to\£'247 17s 3d were passed for payment.} It was decided to apply to the Railway Department for delayed trains for the February meeting. DISTRICT COMMITTER A meeting of the District Committee was held at the conclusion of the above meeting, the same members being present, with the addition of Mr. W. J. Morrison. Gentlemen ' riders' certificates were issued to Messrs D. George, F, C. Anstis, H. llarehant. and Pohe Pito.
