GASWORKS DISPUTE SETTLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Laßt Night. A successful conclusion to the gasworks dispute was reached to-day, when the conciliation commissioner (Mr. W. H. Hagger) was instrumental in formulating an agreement acceptable to both patties. The wages per shift of eight hours, as arranged, are: Stokers, 13s 9d, pipejumpers and pitchpan men 12s 9d, fire-cleaners 12s 3d, war bonus 8d per shift in addition to wages. The men employed in thereiort house are allowed 2d a shift clog money.
